234. SPACE COMBAT!

Ok, so not really space combat, but I was playing around with some idea for armor. I figure space guys are gonna get in fights from time to time outside of space ships, and may need some fancy space armor. I kind of feel like the chest piece is a little too close to the Mass Effect style, that’s why I put the stripes on it, to see if it make it look even closer, and it did, so I’m going to have to revisit the chest piece. I may look at a variety of modern and future concept kevlar type vests to get a better idea.

I am so glad you are doing this. Maybe it will inspire others to take this challenge (even if it is only for a month and then work up to a year). I guarantee you will grow tremendously! The hardest part may be the inspiration so keep a notebook as well so that you have ideas that you may be able to fall back on! Keep us posted! Good luck and have fun! At the end you should do a time laps of progression as your work will grow in quality if you do this!

  Thanks Quinto! It’s certainly hard to keep up with some days, but it’s been extremely rewarding so far, and I still have 131 days left. I’m hoping to get some time to do a couple full color pieces, but that kind of free time is hard to find lately. I like the idea of putting together a little video, maybe I can work on one big piece at some point, and record all the work on that, and time-lapse that drawing through the others, like every 10 or 20 drawings show a few seconds of the time-lapse.
